Never Compromise Quality Just to Sell
One mistake I see many young startups and entrepreneurs make is the temptation to drastically reduce their price just to win a customer. There is nothing wrong with offering competitive prices, discounts or promotional packages, but there is a point where reducing your price begins to affect the quality of what you deliver. Never compromise the quality of your product or service simply because you want to make a sale. If a client cannot afford your standard package, rather than reducing the quality of your work, find a way to adjust the scope. Remove some features, reduce the quantity, offer a smaller package or negotiate what can realistically be delivered within the client's budget. But don't promise premium quality and then deliver something below standard because the price has been reduced.
