activities and functions of your team when planning an

Expected Outcome

Participants in attendance will be able to:

memorable events

the event.

• Appreciate the importance of risk assessment and
contingency planning when coordinating events
• Appreciate the importance of proper time management
and task management to an event’s success

consistently get the best out of their teams)

Event Management

Methodology
An interactive approach that utilises audio-visual aids,
lectures, class discussions, and group exercises. Current
issues,both local and international will be taken into
consideration during the period of slated for the programme.
Practical training session will be included so as students will learn the basics skills needed for them to know in regards to decorations.

Assessment

1) An examination will be given by the end of the programme so as to assess their performance. (40marks).
2) A project where the student is given specific
guidelines to follow and asked to plan an event.
