A Wake-Up Call for Youths

Image
A Wake-Up Call for Youths Right now, as you read these words, your future is being written. Not by grand gestures or luck, but by the small choices you make today. The bottle of drink you buy instead of saving. The side hustle you start instead of scrolling and surfing the net. The skill you learn instead of watching TV all day. Every successful person you admire started exactly where you are now, with a choice. They chose to see money not as something that happens to them, but as something they could control. They understood a timeless truth, money gives you the power to solve most of life's problems.  When you have money, you have options. You can help your family. Pursue your dreams. Take risks. Say no to things that don't serve you and become the author of your own life. The gap between dreaming and achieving isn't luck, it's action. Small, consistent actions that compound over time. Start today. Not tomorrow. Not next week. Today. Put aside just N2,000. Feel the p...

HOW TO SAVE COST PLANNING A WEDDING IN NIGERIA

Image
Planning a wedding in this unpredictable economy can be daunting...here's how you can save cost planning and still experience an unforgettable wedding in Nigeria. 1. Set a Realistic Budget Start with a strict spending limit (e.g., ₦500k–₦3M). Break costs into categories: venue (20-30%), food (30-40%), attire (10-15%), and extras. Use pre-wedding savings accounts or fixed deposit accounts for disciplined saving. 2. Slash Guest Numbers Limit invites to 50-100 guests. Smaller lists cut food, seating, and venue costs instantly. Use digital invites via WhatsApp/email to avoid printing fees. 3. Venue Hacks Use community centers, church halls, or family compounds. Combine traditional + white weddings at one location. Negotiate and avoid festives peaks, rates are usually higher. 4. Choose Minimalist Decor designs Craft simple centerpieces. Prioritize focal points like the altar/arch instead of lavish setups. THE ADVENTURE

Image
I have consistently work on myself to be the event manager, designer, planner, decorator, trainer, mentor and consultant that I've evolved. Over the years, my little consistency has earn me major contracts and engagement with NGOs, Government and private individuals of middle and high networths. The journey has been an exciting one with its highs and lows, so adventurous that one has to dust himself and move on. On this path, I've had big wins, and losses. But the wins has always remain my motivation to keep pushing. The challenges encountered, taught me a lesson to remain strong and resilient in the entrepreneurial journey. I've learned, unlearned, relearned and still learning from books, colleagues and other associates both within and outside the shores of Nigeria. I've come to realise there are lots of untapped goldmine in the event industry.  The reason why arguably it is called the sector that has employed the larger percentage of youths off our streets. Is it the...
